Review of Annihilation (2018) by Felipe F — 31 Mar 2018
A great sci-fi film that kept me involved in the story until the 3rd act. I was a bit tired so it might have been that, but overall the ending was filled with strange twists and turns that I had a really hard time following.
I think you really have to be involved in the film to understand what it is saying, and I realize it doesn't hurt to read some of the write-ups after the fact. I think it is a beautiful film that deals with a lot of complex issues, so I reccomend it, but don't watch this when you want a light story or are looking for fun, it is deep for sure.
