Review of Annihilation (2018) by Shuruppak — 28 Feb 2018
This film is more challenging than typical sci-fi, superhero offerings -- but well worth it. I'm sure it will be divisive, but for those who prefer cerebral films that don't provide ready-made or easy interpretation, 'Annihilation' will be a treat.
Gorgeous visuals and great musical/sound track. Doesn't follow the book that closely, but I liked the choices that were made in the screenplay. Well cast. Prefer to see in theater over small-screen.
