Review of Annihilation (2018) by Atheeq%20 A — 30 Dec 2018

I get the concept and the purpose of the movie. The theme of life being in perpetual flux is intriguing, but the story line is not gripping enough for me to really care about it. I'm all about ambiguous endings and leaving it to interpretations, but this movie just comes off as trying to be too smart for its own good sake.

The best feature of this film is its breathtaking cinematography and that should not be viewed as a compliment.
