Generally, most of us know that the word, "annihilation," is synonymous with obliteration & destruction. However, can anything ever be truly destroyed? Science postulates that energy is neither created nor destroyed, which brings us to another lesser known, physics-based definition of annihilation: the conversion of matter into energy. This specifically notes the mutual conversion of particles & antiparticles into electromagnetic radiation.
Personally, I am fan of science, especially of its purity. I am also philosophically curious. . . What if. . . ??
So, blending the purity of science (physics) with the complexity of chaos (humans), "Annihilation" ultimately allows us to witness an experiment in human nature & then hypothesize our fate.
