Annihilation is a visceral and haunting sci-fi treat from Alex Garland. The ambitious attempt to reveal numerous subtle themes throughout the film are rewarded with the payoff during the final sequence.
While the audience is left with more questions than answers, the sheer experience of the film, and the visual wonders are enough to leave viewers more than satisfied.
