Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Robert A — 18 Apr 2012
There is so much I love about this movie. I've watched this a couple of times in the past and I'm not sure how I felt about it before but now that I'm older and have experienced more life and I know more about everything and even got all the references the movie just made that much more sense.
It's funny, it's charming in Woody Allen's own way. All of the talk about analysts and psychology is great. I really enjoyed all those parts. The main character is always thinking about death and that leads to some very funny moments.
It's all such a perfect example of relationships and how relationships can be and why people end up finding themselves in them. They are in it for the eggs.
