Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Ryan N — 05 Nov 2012
This, alongside "Manhattan" and "Crimes and Misdemeanors", is the quintessential Woody Allen film. It's also one of my favorite films of all time with great performances from Allen and Keaton.
It also has a bittersweet feeling to it, especially with the ending, which just makes it better. With one of the greatest scripts ever written, great direction and an amazing ensemble cast, Annie Hall proves once again that Allen is one of the greatest writers and directors of all time.
9.7/10.
