Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Trevor R — 22 Mar 2013
The very best of Woody Allen's work is so personal, so unique, so honest, so singularly HIM, that it seems impossible to separate the man from his stories, and that's one of the many reasons "Annie Hall" resonates and entertains on a whole other level than most movies (and certainly romantic comedies) do.
Every aspect of this movie just works. Hysterical, poignant, heartbreaking, and wonderful.
