Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Liam B — 08 Apr 2013
A terrific comedic loss/love story written and directed by woody Allen. Although Allen's performance is hilarious per usual, Diane Keaton is the true star of the film, taking her role of a self-conscious, anxious character to a truly realistic level.
The plot is excellent and the humor never once falters, a sure classic. The film served as evidence of Allan's increasing notion of dealing with more serious themes rather than just satirizing them.
