Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Harrison W — 08 Mar 2014
I'm not the biggest Woody Allen fan as I've only seen his most recent 3 (all which I have liked including To Rome with Love, but I was still a little disappointed with Annie Hall. The comedy is there and it's not hilarious, but it's intelligent and witty which is nice and all, but I never found myself caring for this couple because they never seemed like a couple that deserved each other.
I liked Allen's observations and how he broke the fourth wall to deliver his perspective on those observations, but as for the story I was totally uninvested and uninterested. I'll give it another shot one of these days.
