Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Samuel H — 12 May 2014
Woody Allen portrays New York better than almost any other film director out there (the other competitor would be Spike Lee). Annie Hall is wonderful, especially as Woody Allen wraps the movie up at the end.
However, I must state that it is no Manhattan, which is, by far Allen's best movie. Still Annie Hall holds its own and is a witty, jumbled, and beauty tale of love and friendship.
