Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Anthony I — 30 Dec 2014
This movie could go on forever, and I would still watch it. It's an incredible, heartbreaking, hilarious look at love. It never stops being funny, and NEVER stops being interesting. Woody Allen's direction of this movie was revolutionary.
He tears down the fourth wall with a wrecking ball. But between all the comedy, there is something so unexpectedly sweet and sad about the whole experience. It represents how many people found and lost love in the 1970's.
I think this might be one of my all-time favorites.
