Haters be hatin'. That's the only explanation for the bad reviews this movie got. While none of the cast are great singers and it's exceedingly auto-tuned, all the actors bring their A-game to this charming effort.
The new and old are seamlessly blended, and Quvenzhane once again is a great screen presence. Cleverly directed and edited.
