I was initially excited that there was going to be a remake. But this wasn't a remake but a retelling that was not fun or charming. The singing was lackluster and the acting subpar. Shame on the writer for having Annie to having a flaw illiteracy.
Wasn't it enough that she lived in a foster home without knowing where her parents were. Save your money and find Annie from the 1980s cheesy but enjoyable family movie.
