This remake was very, very good. The characters had more depth. The movie was modernized in creative ways like the car chase with cell phones. Ms. Hannigan's character was great. I also really liked the racial diversity, which is part of the modernization and better reflects the racial make up of orphans (don't know about the millionaires as I don't know any).
I went to see it with my children and grandchildren. We have since bought the DVD and watched many times.
