Review of Anne of the Thousand Days (1969) by Jaime K — 28 Dec 2007
After watching snippets of The Tudors on Showtime, and getting exasperated by the historical inaccuracies, I turned to this (which I received on DVD for Christmas) for an antidote. While it's not entirely faithful to history, it comes much closer than Hollywood usually does.
Burton is superb as Henry, and Bujold is a wonderful Anne Boleyn.
