Review of Anne of Green Gables (1985) by Rob V — 01 Feb 2009
We are so very lucky that Megan Follows wasn't impressed by Mrs. Lynde who said acting is a sin. For me, this is one of the greatest movies ever made for its extremely beautiful and melodramatic dialogues (gilmore girls of the 19th century).
Who can forget "Fishing. For lake trout" or "The fact that you rescued me, unnecessarily, hardly wipes out past wrongs." Simply amazing.
