I LOVE this movie! I guess because I first saw it with my Mee-Maw, who loved it so much because she had been taken in by strangers and loved just like Anne! My Mee-Maw bought me all of the books and I've fallen in love with them again and again, just like the movie!!! The performances are unforgettable and the film captures the spirit,charm, humor, and warmth of the first book perfectly.
And I DEFY you not to cry, both sad and happy tears!!!
