Review of Annapolis (2006) by Jenni F — 30 Dec 2007
This had such potential to be a good film...I was sorely disappointed. It's a ripoff of An Officer and a Gentleman, Men of Honor, and about every other really good military movie you can think of, but laden with even more cliches.
Predictable plot, no character development, and Jordana Brewster was as convincing as a Naval officer as Denise Richards as the nuclear physicist in The World Is Not Enough. The best part was James Franco and Tyrese looking sexy in uniform.
One of the few films that could've actually standed to be LONGER, if only to develop the characters more.
