Review of Annabelle: Creation (2017) by Oddcouple R — 14 Aug 2017

This one was better than the 1st. At first glance I thought this movie wasn't going to be good. Then I watch the trailers and I think "this looks promising". So then I go see the movie and I actually enjoyed it.

The scares worked, they were more scary, more suspensful. The acting was solid. And the plot made sense. It was a good origin story. It was effective and it worked. The doll is back (SCARY AS HECK). The pacing was slow at first but then it started to pick up and well now we're here.

The jump scares actually scared me. And overall...I really enjoyed it. I'd give this movie a 8.5/10.
