Review of Annabelle: Creation (2017) by Timothy R — 16 Aug 2017

Annabelle Creation is better than the first Annabelle in everyway. Although there are a few jumps scares in the movie it doesn't ruin it and they actually work, there are also some really suspenseful moments that really give you time to be scared. The cinematography is really good and the use of creepy imagery really heightens the horror. Annabelle's Creation isn't a perfect movie but it is a great new installment in the Conjuring universe and not only holds itself up as a good movie but also increases the value of it's predecessor with the genius tie in to the original Annabelle.

Verdict: 7.5/10 | B+.
