Lots of loose ends and a half-assed attempt at a God vs Satan story, the movie plot failed. However, the movie's ability to thrill the audience was excellently done. The movie locked the audience in a gaze with a face of evil.
It forced them to hold that gaze past the point of comfort, furthering the suspense, fear, and adding a layer of discomfort to enhance the quality of horror the movie somewhat possessed.
