Why is it so hard to do a good spin-off film? The Conjuring was a fantastic film but unfortunately I can't say the same for it's semi-prequel Annabelle. Now it is a well made film with a good lead performance and some solid scares but overall it was just really silly.
The characters being rather thing doesn't help either. Honestly, who has that many creepy dolls anyway?
