Review of Annabelle (2014) by Bryce V — 03 Nov 2018

There were a few good scenes that fit the Conjuring's "ghost" type jumpscares. And the ending was okay. But otherwise the movie fails to give you the jolts and tension that the conjuring does.

It tries to build on the "multiple ghost" idea but that brings the attention away from the doll itself (which doesn't do that much). Aside from looking genuinely creepy, the doll doesn't do as much as it should.
