It's almost as if they knew it wouldn't measure up to The Conjuring so they didn't even try. It gave some info about Annabelle, but overall this film was a pointless prequel. It's become pretty standard to have poor acting in these types of films, but the acting I saw from Annabelle Wallis was just horrendous.
I mean a demon is messing with your baby and that's the most emotion you can show?
