Review of Annabelle (2014) by The Movie G — 28 Jan 2017
Annabelle isn't the worst film out there but it certainly isn't the best one either. What was so effective in The Conjuring is tossed out and we are left with unlikeable characters and non suspenseful horror and cheap jump scares.
Annabelle isn't anything like The Conjuring and it shows! The only thing that really has remained scary from The Conjuring to Annabelle is Joseph Bishara's terrifying soundtrack.
