Maybe it was our low expectations going in that made this a surprising thrill for my husband and I. I looove The Conguring and knew this wouldn't be the same, but we both agreed that Annabelle was way scarier.
Maybe not as smart and doesn't have the "based on true events" to enhance the fright, but not the waste of time I thought it'd be.
