Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Lawson B — 04 Feb 2013
Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina is a super realistic exploration of love, in both society and emotion. Never see any director got it right on film.
Joe Wright strips off the realistic society while presents it metaphorically. It just doesn't work. Thanks to the group of stunning actors giving a very refreshing characters, which is closer to the reality. These characters are better than those in the novel.
