Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Andrew L — 23 Mar 2013
This was a good movie. Once the movie hits the halfway point, it feels slow but if you give it the necessary attention, you will be satisfied in the end. The story is a mixture of romance, comedy, and drama.
The way how the movie was filmed was very creative and very daring at times. A lot of the actions by the characters were shown as if they were on stage performing. The choreography from the dancing was very well done.
The direction was very well done as the camera tells a beautiful story of its own that doesn't ever seem to get dull, from a cinematography standpoint. The acting by Keira Knightley and Jude Law was really well done.
Definitely worth the rent.
