Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Andrew M — 07 Nov 2014
I was very close to giving up on this film as despite the novel set-up, I was dosing off slightly. That is until Keira Knightley's character clapped eyes on Aaron Taylor-Johnson's. Call it movie magic but the film literally became instantly watchable and fizzled into life to tell their love story.
Shame it hadn't all happened 45 minutes earlier but it was definitely saved by the casting department.
