Joe Wright's innovative approach to the retelling of this all-too familiar story makes for an unexpected and interesting film experience. Keira Knightley and Jude Law are particularly effective. This film defies convention and provides a and Stoppard's screenplay provides a fresh and surreal perspective on Tolstoy's often visited novel.
