Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Lane B — 06 Jun 2015
Anna Karenina is based off the 1873 - 1877 Russian novel by Leo Tolstoy. It's a complexed and epic love story that would be challenging for an director to make into a two hour film. The cast was good, the set design was beautiful as was the choreography.
It was like watching a play on stage instead of a film, the only thing that took away from it would be the slow moving and uneven, sometimes confusing plot.
