This movie is spectacular, genre defying, and a blast. At once, itâ(TM)s a Christmas spectacular, teen drama, comedy laugh-fest, zombie slasher, and musical. And the same time it is defiant, refusing to commit to any of these for the sake of being something fun, unique, and refreshing. The characters matter, so do their deaths. The songs are toe-tapping and the jokes hit hard. Itâ(TM)s the best of the holiday season. Set aside expectations and be entertained.

To all the reviewers who try to compare this to â~La La Landâ(TM) or â~High School Musicalâ(TM)â"stop. This is neither of those films. Itâ(TM)s something wonderful and new and everyone should see it.
