Review of Ankur: The Seedling (1974) by Avradip S — 16 May 2013
Brilliant start, brilliant ending some lax moments at the middle. The background score really let down the movie. I felt it would have been a masterpiece if shortened and music was used more judiciously.
Its definitely a must watch, but for me it hasn't reached that level of 'Satyajit Ray" films because of the length and background music.
