Review of Animal Kingdom (2010) by Sibel S — 18 Apr 2011
Animal Kingdom is a dark, powerful drama including exciting acting. I can say mostly all characters caught me. Jackie Weaver was already nominated for Oscar, playing a mom who devoted herself to her crime machine children no matter what.
She was really good but I don't think that she would win the Oscar. It felt like the story of a mother in such kind of a life would bring the nomination to a good actress anyway.
