If the only thing you know about Australian film is Baz Luhrman, give this thriller a try. With a fantastic script and some gifted actors, Animal Kingdom is compelling and riddled with tension. Just as this family struggles to escape the criminal empire they have created, we too are roped into this dangerous and volatile world.
It's a crime drama that doesn't romanticize crime or idolize felons - Animal Kingdom delivers the audience an essential dose of stone-cold truth.
