Review of Animal Crackers (1930) by Reginald R — 08 Jun 2005
Animal Crackers (second or third viewing) is ok Marx bros.
Shall We Dance is a great japanese romantic comedy about a guy who takes dance lessons.
Some fuckwit had taped some of that stupid river movie with Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon over John Huston's The Dead so I missed the first half. However I saw enough to really like it and rate it as 8.
I also tried to watch two films for some time, but they seemed so badly flawed that I had to withdraw from that. They were called Innoncence (Paul Cox, 2000) and One True Thing (Carl Franklin, 1998). Can't recommend them.
And you know, movie trailers keep getting worse by the year. If they had any decency they'd stop making them already. The ones from the fifties are ok. They propably sucked in their day too though.
