Review of Animal Crackers (1930) by Luis G — 07 Jun 2012
Brilliant humour, a laugh from start to finish. It has all the charm of a marx brothers classic! The marx brothers are still up to their same old tricks in this film, it suffers from being fairly sameish to most other films of theirs.
The problem is that again the plot isn't even worth mention, it is all about the jokes and where it is a film that certain isn't their most madcap or most funniest, so it doesn't quite cut the mark of "duck soup" or "night at the opera".
There are though, plenty of funfilled gags and one liners in store. Maybe not their best work but it is still a neccesary viewing for anyone.
