Review of Anger Management (2003) by Nathan R — 17 Jul 2010
Pure disappointment, poorly executed, and all the actors (except maybe Sandler) are totally wasted. I expected Jack Nicholson's character to be an interesting doctor who helps Sandler overcome his anger issues, but I found him to be a annoying, yet boring, character that seemed more interested in just pissing Sandler off.
Marisa Tomei fades in the background, which is a shame, although maybe this was indicative of a lack of chemistry between her and Sandler. The ending is just plain bad, and by this point I was just waiting for the film to finish on the standard rom-com note so I could go do something more interesting, like microwave my dinner.
