'Tis a grand movie. I recommend reading (or listening) to the book first. Makes the movie all that more enjoyable I think. The audiobook is read by the author which makes it all the better. Anyway, the movie holds true to the book very well and gives a good depiction of what poor life in Ireland must have been like.
It was given a good review by the author anyway.
