Review of Angel Heart (1987) by Stefan L — 21 Jul 2012
One of the most haunting horror movies I've ever seen - and have seen some. Its power derives from the ever increasing feeling of being haunted by a nameless fear gripping your heart with the calculated slowliness of a true sadist.
Even better than the novel written by Hjortsberg. Also give one to Trevor Jones for the creepy themes and the hilarious blues songs performed in the film.
