Review of Angel Heart (1987) by John A — 07 Oct 2012
Angel Heart Brings Two Great Movie Genres Together And Makes It Work Wonderfully. First We Have The Main Element Noir Style Dectective Story, Which See's Private Dick Harry Angel Investigate A Missing Person, Johnny Favorite. Favorite Was A Famous Blues Singer Who During World War 2, Went Missing.
The Other Genre Is That Of The Supernatural, Everyone Of Harry's Leads Ends Up Mysteriously Dead. Harry's Client Is The Devil Himself, & He's Using Angel To Find The Soul That Escaped Him.
Mickey Rourke Gives An Excellent Performance As Angel & Robert DeNiro Gives An Excellently Chilling Performance As The Devil.
