Review of Angel-A (2005) by Sean O — 28 Mar 2008
Besson's mise en scene never fails to be perfectly captured. the story wasn't the best in the world and was simplistic, but that's what I liked about it. you shouldn't compare it to his other films (cause they're classics), but take it for what it is.
I like how besson continues to have his main protagonist to be the unlovable, unlikeliest of heroes, which we end up rooting for.
