Review of Angel-A (2005) by Ross M — 08 Jul 2008
Very good piece of film making. It's pretty much my kind of film. The black and white cinematography puts you into a different world. The casting is spot on, whilst the story is very Besson-like; fun, intriguing with pieces of the puzzle removed making you think of "what ifs".
Not as good as Fifth Element or Leon (my 7th favourite film), but lots of films aren't. Stand alone it's very good.
