Review of Angel-A (2005) by Louis F — 01 Jan 2009

You can call this film simplistic, or sentimental, or corny, but you can't take away that the film is a joy to watch. It's funny, the cinematography is gorgeous and while the story could be considered cliche in some respects, in others, it's completely original and engrossing. I had no idea what I was in for when I started it, and admittedly it sat on my shelf for a long time before I watched it, but once it started I was smiling from beginning to end.

Great, great film.
