Review of Angel-A (2005) by Sarah B — 06 Jan 2009
Too sweetness and light which jars with the bursts of violence, black and white style and shoe-horned gritty realism. Still, a very brave attempt at modernising It's a Wonderful Life with a great antihero to follow and a captivatingly naive and innocent pneumatic blonde.
Just wish it was up to Besson's best.
