I went to see this film to kill some time, but came out of the cinema, captivated by it. A terminally ill man who seems like the perfect father that we would all want - jovial, funny, apparently good natured, in public - is seen from the perspective of his emotionally damaged son, colloquially known as 'fathead'.
This is an extremely sensitive examination of father-son relationships, although in this case, in terms of maturity, it is hard o tell who is the father and who is the son.
