For me being a hospice nurse just seeing a fairly realistic dying patient is a treat. Jim Broadbent always excellent. I tend to think that Colin Firth can be a bit wooden but so was this character so it worked out well and I thought he did a great job at the ending and did a good ugly cry scene! Teenager Matthew Blake was classic awkward teen and well played.
Sentimental - Yes!, but we all have a father and should be seeing him...
