Review of And When Did You Last See Your Father? (2007) by Sv G — 28 Feb 2009
From the memoirs of poet Blake Morrison comes this story of a man coming to terms with his father's impending death and their life long struggles to understand and appreciate one another. Colin Firth brings a nice performance here, but I must say I simply didn't care for his character (either as a child or an adult) and found myself having trouble in sympathizing with him.
Not a bad film over-all but not going to make my list of favorite Colin Firth films.
