Probably not the best film to watch when you are sad or have a sick parent or a child leaving home to go to school. Nonetheless worth a look. An incredibly brave performance by the lovely Colin Firth. Brilliant, brilliant casting of Colin Firth and the always amazing Jim Broadbent as father and son.
Even their speech patterns are the same. Wonderful cinematography and it's worth a look at the film just to enjoy that aspect. Not until the end do you realize that the story encompasses three generations.
